Berth
/ quayside shelter
Being
berthed inside the canal gives shelter from bad weather and ensures the
comfort of deep water and security without any worries about the tide.
Visiting craft are welcome at Maritime House Marina, which is
operated by Maritime House Business Centre.

Notes
on access to the port - Shoreham Port Authority recently reconstructed the
Prince George Lock exclusively for the use of small craft. This now
enables vessels to enter and leave much more easily and faster. Manned 24
hours, this allows access at most states of the tide for small draft
vessels.
The
use of the lock and access and use of the canal is covered within the
Shoreham port dues - payable direct to Shoreham Port. click
